Benefits Dependent Care FSA

Use the Dependent Care FSA screen to set up your dependent care flexible spending account, including your deduction per pay period.

Dependent care includes out-of-pocket expenses for day care and in-home care, au pair services, and other similar services.

Use the FSA Worksheet to estimate how much money to set aside for dependent care.

Screen Fields

Field Description
Current Annual Contribution

This field displays your annual contribution amount for dependent care flexible spending.

Current <Frequency>

This field displays your current deduction amount per pay period (for example, the deduction per month if you are paid monthly).

New Annual Contribution

Enter a new annual contribution amount. A message below the  table states the maximum annual amount that you can contribute. You will receive an error message if you try to enter a higher amount.

When you leave the New Annual Contribution field or click Save, the New <Frequency> amount is calculated automatically.

New <Frequency>

Enter the pay period deduction amount. If you do not wish to participate in the Dependent Care FSA plan, you must enter 0.00 in the New <Frequency> field.

When you tab out of the New <Frequency> field or click Save, the system calculates the amount (including any amounts already contributed).
